Axpata work flow manual

Hi,

I gone through the Axapta 2009 manuals about T&L , Finance , but I could not find the Work flow procedure.

work flow means i created the purchase order and some body has to approve that purchase order .

Please let me know the work flow procedure in axpata, that means that manual

Currently you can find this in the administration manual for setup, the development manual for guides on new workflow (only 8 or 10 are standard) and then there are references to this in the Whats New manual. There is also a White Paper.

As yet Microsoft have not released a work flow specific manual, and I have no idea if they intend to, you would need to ask them.

where is the path to do the setup for workflow. i searched in Accounts payable, Receivable, Finance…

but i could not find that path to setup the workflow.

let me know what is the difference between Manual and White paper.

White papers are written to express concept, Manuals tell you how it works, when the software is written the White paper is redundant because the manual will replace it.

Well in AP it is the third option under Setup, and fourth in AR.

really you are throwig some valuable information to know about what i dont know.

i gone through the work flow concept in axapta in AP, AR.

but here i dont have fields enter the amount.

When it comes navision the work flow will work based on user ID & amount wise.

could u explain about the axapta process briefly , how it works .

just throw some information on this to do transactions using work flow

It depends on the conditions you set.

You need to start configuring it and look at the conditions set etc.

I cannot teach you this from the ground up in a post like this.

Look at the purchase order workflows, start setting the elements of the version the conditions can be on the value and you have a whole range of group and user configurations.

I searched the partner source for that white paer, I could not find .

Could u throw that white paper to me or just upload that white paer in downloads.

Also not sure how hard you “searched” partnersource - if you search on Workflow with the functional area being AX there are only 58 entries, and this is the third. [:D]
