Folks,

I have couple of questions on migrating a customization from one environment to another.

1- How to determine/quantify the amount of customization done to an AX instance. Methods, tools, utilities or the list of files to look at

2- What is the best approach or methodology to migrate the customization from one instance and apply it to the new AX instance.

Hi Arul,

Assuming you mean upgrading to Ax 2009 -

  1. You can create an estimation report for determining amount of time it will take to upgrade customisations. For more details refer to the link below.
