AX2012 Parallel Country Features

Hi,

I am working in a Dynamics AX company that is setup with German specific functionalities. For testing purposes, I would like to use German and Russian Dynamics AX features in parallel without having to change the country association of my demo company.

Is that possible?

If so, how can this be realized?

Any hint would be highly appreciated.

You also asked this question on the Dynamics Community. I did provide an answer which I will copy here. Can you indicate if this will work for you?

For a customer we wanted to use the Bank foreign currency revaluation which is part of the Russian functionality. We solved it in the AOT. You can remove the CountryRegionCodes restrictions on menu-items and other AOT objects or add the German country code to these objects. It will be some hassle to find all related objects for the CountryRegionCodes restriction.
