AX Service Account Temp folder filling up

The Temp folder of the AOS service account is filling up (80Mb in 2 weeks and does not seem to be cleared down automatically). This is happening on each AOS and is causing performance issues. Ie functionality for bank upload and remittance emailing failed until this was cleared.

C:\Users\svc.aos\AppData\Local\Temp

Is this normal and does it have to be manually cleared?
