AX 2013 and warehouse integration

Good day,

We are at the early stages of analysis. Due to specific of the business (warehouses are mostly 3 PL), we are looking for AX and warehouse integration. One of the options is to implement 3rd party in our own few warehouses instead of using AX WMS. Your experience, insight would be highly appreciated.

AX 2012 R3 , wholesale, retail. No manufacturing.
