AX 2012- how to create an alert for a duplicate sales order

Hi,

Does anyone know how to create an alert for a duplicate sales order so it alerts the sales team if they put a sales order on with the same customer account and customer reference?

You cannot, the alert will tell you of a change, a new record, but you cannot configure it to run a check through all orders for the same reference/customer number combo. It is a modification.
