AX 2012 excel import (Office Addins)

Dear all,

I am trying to import data from excel to ax.

I did following steps

  1. Click on Connection > Choose current server connection

  2. Click on “Add Data” button > Add Data > Tick the General journal entries (which have already been setup earlier on in AX)

  3. From the “Field chooser”, select the fields for journl header and entries

  4. But when I select the added record and go to publish data, the “Publish Selected” is disabled

If possible for you can you please help me (guide me )to do this task, I have been search all over but could not get the proper solution.
