i installed max 2009 successfully, but not yet EP installation ,it showing windows sharepoint services 3.0 SP 1 error ,when i am installing sharepoint sp1 it showing no packages in ur system .
installing of ax2009 steps in my system belo steps:
→ windows server 2008 r2
->sql server 2008r2
->installed database,aos,application server,client,.net business connector successfully installed
->after that i intialize check list successfully
->next i installed reporting services successfully
->before installing of roles and enterprise portal i installed sharepoint 3.o successfully.
→ when i am installing of roles and enterprise portal it showing error below image.

->next completed upgrade checklist successfully
->next i installed reporting services successfully
->before installing of roles and enterprise portal i installed sharepoint 3.o successfully.
→ when i am installing of roles and enterprise portal it showing error below image.
Once restart the system and try installing the SharePoint services 3.0 SP1 again. After this installation run the Share point Products Configuration wizard and try installing the EP.
Okay. Do one thing. Just uninstall the SharePoint 3.0 and Install 3.0 SP1 directly and check. You could also try specifying the path for exe file in the AX instillation wizard.
