Automatically create Batch numbers in Inventory journal

Hi all,

In inventory journal, when I create a line with item which is serial number tracked and I enter a new serial number which is not created for that item yet, that serial number will be automatically created upon posting of the inventory journal.
Now I have a requirement for the same behaviour when I create an inventory journal with an item which is batch number tracked.
Does standard AX support this function for batch numbers or do I have to customize this?

Not supported, the entered batch number is validated if it exists in the available batch numbers for that item.
