Automatic vendor creation for all companies ! How can i achieve this ?

If the user creates a vendor in one company the system will automatically create the same vendor in all the companies.

I heard it is possible with virtual companies,but my points are…

1. can global address book can be shared across all companies ?

2. can vendor id generation be done by number sequence across all companies ?

3. if i share then what about my old data ?

There is also the standard option in AX2012 to create the vendor in other legal entities from the ribbon bar/action pane.
