Automatic cost posting = No

Expected cost posting = No

Automatic cost Afjustment = NO

Is it correct ? I

If I don’t want to run the Batch job AICE, Post cost to G/L periodically at non working hours then these must be

Automatic cost posting = Yes

Expected cost posting = YES

Automatic cost Afjustment = YES

Is it correct ?

Let me know what is proper method ?

What is the period to run the AICE, Post cost to G/L Batch jobs that means daily , or weekly, 15 days….

Throw some light to comeout from dark.

Experts throw some light on this…

Nope you have it wrong

The automatic cost posting works differently to how you think, as does the expected cost posting - these really are not related to working hours and running the job. You need to know whether to post costs at the time of systme processing, and then if you want the interim costs posted as well.

How often you run this depends on the business and the costing method and the processing, so I have seen all of the settings you describe used. I would answer that you need to run this as frequently as you need to run it to see adjusted costs.

Thanks Steven sir,

That means Even I have this steps

Automatic cost posting = Yes

Expected cost posting = YES

Automatic cost Afjustment = YES

I need to run the Batch job AICE, Post cost to G/L periodically Is it correct ?Thanks and regards

It depends upon the period in the “Automatic Cost Adjustment” field, but I would still answer yes, run the routine to ensure you have everything.

Thanks Steven,

please let me know the which is the best period in " Automatic cost adjustment " Field?

What is the best period to run the Batch job AICE, Post Inventory cost to G/L ?

Please throw the answers .

Thanks and regards

There simply is no “best” you have to apply it to the needs of the business. Set teh automatic cost adjustment appropriate to the business and run teh batch jobs as often as the business needs.
