Anyone know of a Navision vertical package for an auto dealership. Specifically, has anyone emulated the Reynald and Reynalds package or ADP for dealerships?
Hi, I believe Navision already has a “DMS” vertical for automobile dealers, you may contact your NTR for more details. Regards Jyothi Mohan
Take a look at www.incadea.de - they offer a solution for car dealers (the web-site is also available in english).
Actually, Reynolds and Reynolds just bought Incadea. So they now have a Navision-centric Auto Dealer package. However, the last I knew (1 month ago or so) they were still in version 2.6. We could never get return calls or emails from Incadea, but we found an outfit in the south of Ireland that had a lot of knowledge about the product - DMS Limited.
Hi, We are currently using the Incadea package to implement for a car dealer. The version we are currently using is 2.60 and the attain version is likely to be released soon, though the dates are not clear from them. The vertical suits the car dealership industry and was mainly built for BMW dealers in Germany.
Diane, Are you with an NSC or are you an end-user? I remember meeting someone from a Navision dealer in Atlanta a couple of years ago that was working on a package to compete directly with R&R. Unfortunately, I can’t remember their name right now. I can call someone at Navision though to find out, if you’re interested. E-mail me directly at mark@anc-inc.com
HI, Nice to see that INCADEA is started to be mention here. The knowledge I have with incadea is that the car manufactures are using Incadea (The Base Module) then adding their own layer. So what you end up with is this: Standard Incadea. BMW master. (This will become the master) SAAB/OPEL master called CARLO In saying this we have MAN, NISSAN, Citran using standard Incadea. We are using 3.6 client with the 2.6 Database. Regards Graham
