Attain 3.60 Cache questions!

Hi! we have a xeon Pentium 4 2.80 GHZ server with 2.60 GB RAM. my questions: how much should I take for the cache, commitcache on my w2000 server? what is the meaning of these two caches? what is the maximim for each of these caches? how much should I take for the attain clients object and dbms cache? what is the meaning of these two caches? how much of each when I have 256 MB RAM and Windows 2000 Prof? how much of each when I have 512 MB RAM and Windows 2000 Prof? Hello Rebernik a reasonable object cache size is 10 Mb. This does not affect program speed, just how fast the program displays i.e. a form that has previously been opened. (if the memory needed is within or without of the cache size). The commit cache is handled by the server service. You do ot have to worry about it when setting up the cliens. Pelle
