Hello,
currently my company uses Sales Lead time to calculate confrimed ship date on sales orders but we have many issues with it and i would like to explore ATP to see if it suits us better. Unfortunately the information in Trade & Logistic instruction is very brief.
Does anyone know where i can find more info about ATP?

Not sure the manual is that brief, it even states:
ATP = ATP for the previous period + the receipts for the current period - the issues for the current period - the net issue quantity for each future period until the period when the sum of receipts for all future periods, up to and including the future period, is greater than the sum of issues, up to and including the future period.
