My Finance Manger has decided to restructure the item code in AX we are reationalising from 125 item codes down to 25.
The window for the system being of line to do this is quite small as we are a 24/7 bussiness.
All of the posting codes on the itemgroup cards are cganging, the new godes in the GL are alll set up allready.
What I would like to do is create an Atlas Journal or send main table item spreas sheet that I can fill in in advance then upload on the night we swich over some thing like this below.
So clear down AX and transactions and create the new item groups manually then use atlas to uplaod the gl account posting codes
