Does Dynamics NAV have the facility to archive historical data?
The answer is yes or no depending upon your definition of “archive historical data”.
The posted shipments and invoices remain in the respective tables, you have the archived version option from documents.
Just a remark related to archive option.
When you use archive option button and later you post document. Archived version won’t be directly available in forms. In must add archived documents to menu or you view it in posted documents.
