I have to set up 3 companies. A PO in 1 company may result in a work order in another company. Is there a ‘Best Practices’ as far as 1 database and 3 companies or 3 databases with 1 company each. Or any suggestions based on your experiences?

Don’t try to set this up yourself. Get with your NAV Partner to guide you and help you do this. First of all, you couldn’t do three databases anyway because you would need to purchase three separate licenses. The amount of time and money you’ll save on something like this by doing it hand in hand with your NAV Partner will be way more than you realize.
