AR : Transaction is financially closed and may not be split

Hi All,

Having this issue while posting a reverse packing slip for an AX04 Sales order. I am using the Delivery now fields , entered a negative qty for 2 lines of the same item, Post → Delivery order gives the following error.

“Transaction is financially closed and may not be split
You may not split more than what is financially open”

The message itself if quite confusing as it is tallking about the transaction being financialy open and closed .

Checked the InventTrans table for the said Sales orders transactions and found a number of records with ‘ValueOpen’ field with YES and NO.

Let me know the next logical step to proceed.
