Approval List While Creating a BOM

While creating a BOM in Ax 2009 we have an option who approves it. Is there way i can restrict only the logged in user to show up in the Approver Drop down ?. Currently i see all the users and the users are actually applying other users as approvers ?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Assign an Employee to the user, so that approved by will default with the employee used in the user relations(this will avoid mistakes to an extent).

To restrict the look up values you need to apply the record level security on Employee table, bu this will have impact through out the application.

If you don’t want any one to edit this field and only take the value from the user relations then from development side you can permanently make it non-editable.
