AOS with or without Terminal server

I am assisting a client with an Axapta project. The client has a main office in a city and 15 field offices with 3-8 staff in each. We are planning to outsource the servers to an offsite data center. Ping times to the field offices via the VPN is in the 65 - 85 ms range. I have seen lots of conflicting information about whether AOS can handle this environment. I’ve seen (in Microsoft documents) numbers from 5ms to 100ms for the maximum latency. The VAR is suggesting using Windows Terminal Server running AOS clients which adds a layer of complexity, but I have experience with WTS and know it works in this environment. Is there a definitive WAN/LAN technical requirements document for AOS? Has anyone had experience using AOS over a 1 mb DSL VPN connection with a latency of 80ms? Is it practical? Thanks
