Gr8, they have invented what ? WalkieTalkie technology ? I’m really impressed. Or maybe they invented shouting ? There you have a problem with spamming if your neighbor shouts with his kids. But with shouting you are not limited to 100 feet (at least not all of us).

Sorry, Nelson. I just tried to be funny ! Technically spoken, Opera did not explain anything. Except that it is a P2P Real Time Speech Technologie with a range of 30 meters. That sounds to me like a Party, and they invented “talking” !

Like you said, the range is not fixed. It depends on the specific equipment being used. For example, opera singers and army generals have usually much larger ranges…
