have entries in an Account in G/L, but belonging to different departments. I would like to allocate one of the departments into other department from the same account, back into itself. I have therefore used the Balance recurring method, but when I specify the department, and then other departments in the allocation window, all the balance on the account is allocated with no regard to the department! Someone, has told me it cannot allocate for just a department. Is there anyone who has had an experience of doing it my way and what did they have to do? Thanks Robert
