After upgrading from Navision to Attain - Manuals?

Recently the company i work for upgraded from Navision to Attain. We have now had reply from our 3rd Party supplier indicating that there are no manuals available for attain and instead help system should be printed. Can this be right? Some of our users liked the chapterisation of manuals and liked the way it was collated to provide natural progression through the software area. The help system while useful to the more technically aware user does not prvide the same comfort to some of our newer users.

that’s right. We also asked our NTR for documentation for some customers, the manuals simply aren’t written anymore. They are not available now and probably won’t be anymore. The only thing you van do is ask your MBS partner for the training material for Navision.

Actually, I have some PDF files, downloaded from our NTR’s website. They have names like: “Financial Management for Navision Attain 3.60.pdf” “Distribution for Navision Attain 3.60.pdf” “Fixed Assets for Navision Attain 3.60.pdf” and so on … they look like manuals to me, maybe not the best manuals you might ask for, but manuals nevertheless … Am I dreaming? Hi Anna, The manuals you are talking about are used for training from NTR to NSC. But they might be used for clients as wel. Sven
