Hello, everybody, I am wondering if anyone knows of a document or documents that would talk about accounting entries for different operations in Axapta, sort of Axapta from accounting perspective. There is plenty of technical resources, but so far I didn’t find anything that would focus on the accounting side of the application. Thanks! Serioga
Hi Serioga, If you want to learn Axapta from finance perspective, best bet would be to undergo a formal training either with reseller or local MBS. Alternatively you might want to go through (and practice!!) PDF manuals that came along with Axapta ver 2.5 CD and also buy Axapta ver 3.0 printed manuals. Harish, thanks for your advice. Formal training is not an option at this point. I have PDF training manuals for version 3.0. So far, I haven’t seen much about Debits/Credits there which is what I am looking for. As I make my way through the system, I try to make an intelligent guess which way each transaction should go, but sometimes I end up way off of expected results. I’d appreciate any help (pdf’s, user notes, links, etc.) that might be helpful. S.P.
