Do I need the accounts schedule granule to do a profit/loss report in Navision or can this be done with the basic general ledger functionality?
In the general sense, yes, you can get by without accounts schedules. Its pretty easy to structure your GL to get out a reasonable P/L, and you can always use Account No. 2 to get it to look nice, with some coding onthe report. BUT if actually your question should have read : “Can I save money by not using Account Schedules”, then the answer would be NO, by the time you do the work to get the report done, it would have been cheaper to just buy the account schedules granule.
