What do you think and what antiviruses do you use on your servers (Native Database)? Will on-line virus check slow down server? I installed Computer Associates antivirus and I need to decide to use on-line virus check or schedule it to run full virus check once a day (nightime) or week. -
Online is always best, as it is optimal to get a virus the second it comes in. As long as the server is decent, the virus software will cause minimal resource use. Make sure that you disinclude the Navision database directory, though, as that would decrease the performance of the machine.
