A problem with setup

I’m trying to post a Positive Adjmt. from Item Journal. I receive this message: The general posting setup doesn’t exist. Identification fields and value Gen.Bus.Posting Group=" , Gen.Prod. Posting Group=HW I know what it means. But when I control those setups, there is the “crossing” between them (National- Hardware). To be able to post I have to put Bus posting Group (national) in the line, then it works. What could be the problem? In setups I find right lines and crossing but it seems it miss something… thanks

Looks like the “Gen.Bus.Posting Group” is missing, but why should it be required for a positive adjustment? Did you debug the process to find out where the message comes from? Anna

Ciao Anna, yes I did. But i don’t know to use debugger very well. Codeunit 22 The problem is Gen Bus. Posting Group. It didn’t find the cross, but I see it. Any suggestion? thanks

Check General Posting Setup. Inventory Adjustments require that there is an entry in this table for the Ge.Prod.Positng Gp with Gen.Bus.Posting = null. For an inventory adjustment there is no business partner (Customer or Vendor) so the Gen.Bus.Post.Gp is null. Check the General Posting Setup for these entries. You should be able to see this in Cronus.
