Hi, Does anybody have experience with 2GB+ cache in database with NT4.0? I am afraid of long time of saving commit cache. Do you have any expectation how long it will happen and how often? The database size is 10BG+ and 4HDD in Raid1. Valentin Gvozdev BMI Inc.
I don’t really understand the topic - maybe a problem of my excellent english - so could you explain it a little more detailled ?
I have a client running a 26GB database using commit cache and that works perfectly fine.
No need to be afraid - Navision max. waits for 30 sec. before writing commitcache to disk.
